Obedience

One day when he ate with them, he forbade them to leave Jerusalem and told them to stay there waiting for the promise of the Father, which - as he said - "you have heard from me. Acts 1: 4

As Christians, we are called not to be successful, but to OBEY, because success is the result of obedience itself. in Kis.1: 4 Jesus told the disciples to leave Jerusalem, they stay there to wait for the promise of the Father. obedience is a necessary condition for the promise of God.
There are 4 things we look up from the observance of the Apostles in their ministry, namely:
1. the Apostles life to God, not to die.
People who live for the Lord has committed acts that obedience.
Galatians 2: 19 says: "For the law has passed by the law so that I may live for God. I have been crucified with Christ." A person who dies for Christ has no fear or worry ran in his life.
2. The Apostles allow God to walk before them.
The Apostles acted because they knew that God sent them and walked before them (accompanying). Also, read. (Yermia 1: 7-8)
3. The Apostles performed the Mandate.
Acts 2: 2 says: "I go according to a statement. And unto them, I spread the gospel which I preached among the Gentiles - in a separate conversation to those who were respected - so that I might not strive or strive without effort. " In performing the mandate, the Apostles were equipped with the gifts of the Holy Ghost. This is what is called a hidden treasure in Isaiah 45: 2-3. The hidden treasure can only be obtained from the deep knowledge of God.
4. The Apostles direct their hearts and minds to Christ.
In service, they BELIEVE in God. Psalm 55: 22-23 writes: "Give your worries to the LORD, and He will take care of you! He never allowed the righteous to remain forever. " Believing in God is the right attitude as a person who believes in God.
Romans 5: 1-4 says that we are justified by faith to make peace with the Father and receive the fulfillment of promises. Obedience is closely related to patients in the face of suffering. In verse 3-4 it says: "And not only that. We even boast in our misery, because we know that misery causes perseverance, and perseverance leads to endurance and endurance leads to hope. And hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. "
